What is Snoezelen?

Snoezelen (sniffing & dozing) is an activity that is offered to people with intellectual disabilities, advanced dementia, autism, EVMB, other disabilities. The client is placed for a shorter or longer period of time in a room where muted light effects, images and sounds exert a stimulating or calming influence on them.

The Snoezle is designed to create this environment in your home or in a mobile way, providing a familiar environment for the user.

SUSTAINABLE LED STRIP

The entire edge of the Snoezle is equipped with 370 separate LEDs that together create a light show. The LEDs are protected in a silicone sleeve.

This light show is fully synchronized with the audio and tailor-made to suit each theme.

SOUND SCENES

The Snoezle module that controls light and sound contains 4 different scenes: Under Water, The Forest, At Sea & Outer Space. Each theme comes in two versions: an intense and calm mode.

The intense mode is a more tantalizing mode. In this mode there is a little more activity in light and sound. The quiet mode is more relaxed, less stimulating.

The audio is fully synchronized with the light show and tailored to each theme.”
