Meywalk 2000 Gait Trainer

Meywalk 2000 are a series of gait trainers designed to help stimulate and develop children and adults’ walking pattern. It provides optimal support through all the phases of walking, encouraging mobility and independence.

The ability to move freely and unaided is vital for the development of social and interpersonal skills. In addition, it improves blood circulation, digestion and respiration to stand in an upright position daily, which, furthermore, might be a necessity for managing other daily activities.

Meywalk 2000 is available in 3 sizes and fit children from approximate six years and up to adulthood.

The seat and trunk support of the gait trainer is easily adjusted to fit the user’s size and level of upper body control. For example, the trunk support comes in 5 sizes (70, 90, 105, 120 and 130 cm), and you select the correct size based on the circumference of the user’s chest.

The user can easily get in and out of the Meywalk 2000. It has a unique lifting and lowering system and a small rear stop that supports the user’s lower back and holds the pelvis in place on the seat.

You lower the rear stop when the user enters Meywalk 2000. The user can now get into the gait trainer with minimal support and re-lift the seat.

All our gait trainers are versatile and customisable to fit the user’s specific needs. In addition, we offer a wide range of accessories, for example, a hip and trunk support to optimise the body posture. Or a leg separation board that prevents the user’s legs from crossing – facilitating a more natural walking pattern.
